We are proud to announce that one of our clients, Luke Lives On, received its 501(c)(3) tax-exemption from the IRS today.
Luke Lives On is an Austin, Texas nonprofit organization that provides support, comfort, and resources to families who have lost a child due to pregnancy loss or early infant death.
Luke Lives On partners with local hospital labor and delivery units to provide comfort boxes for distribution to families who’ve experienced such loss. Made with love, the Luke Lives On box gives these families not only “something” to leave the hospital with, but items of comfort and support to help them through the grieving process.
Please learn more about Luke Lives On here. Now that it has received its tax-exempt status, donations made are tax-deductible to the extent provided by the law. And check out the boxes that they make for families dealing with perinatal loss.
The Cullinane Law Group was hired in the summer 2011 to organize and set up Luke Lives On as a Texas nonprofit corporation and tax-exempt charity. We are honored by the words from Luke Lives On’s founder, Lisa Hays:
“Mollie Cullinane is a vital reason for the existence of Luke Lives On. Her encouragement for our mission coupled with her vast legal knowledge gave me the confidence to move forward with the start-up of our non-profit. She has been easy and straightforward to work with. It’s amazing to see how much progress our organization has made in the last few months thanks to her efforts.”
